Our Shared Cultural Heritage (OSCH) is a youth-led programme that explores the shared cultures and histories of the UK and South Asia. As one of 12 Kick the Dust projects funded by Lottery Heritage Fund, OSCH aims to explore new ways for heritage and cultural organisations to become better places for young people to explore identity, connect with others and have new opportunities.
We are delighted to have been appointed to plan, design and build their project website and to be working with the British Council.
OSCH is designed to amplify the voices of both young people from South Asia and of South Asian descent in the UK, through its programme of activities for 11-25 year olds.
The youth-led project aims to enable museums and youth and heritage organisations to become better places for young people to explore identity and connect with others.
Following a tender process, we were thrilled to be appointed. Having worked with another Kick the Dust funded project, Shout out Loud, we have been blown away by these Kick the Dust initiatives. We are inspired and fired up by the vision and ambition of OSCH and hope to do it justice through this new online platform.
