The Creative Fuse North East project is led by Newcastle University and is delivered through a unique partnership between the North East’s five universities – Newcastle, Durham, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside. Academics from the universities work alongside industry, cultural organisations, charities and the public sector, to explore how creative, digital and IT firms can have a sustainable future in the region adding value to the economy.
Creative Fuse North East provides different levels of engagement and support to engage small-to-medium-sized enterprises, freelancers and practitioners alike, in ‘fusion’. With a focus on working with regional creative, cultural and digital sectors, they also collaborate with companies from other sectors who can benefit from creativity and creative-led innovation.
The first phase of support was delivered between 2016–2019 and the current site was created back in 2016.
Having originally created the brand identity and supporting communications over the past few years we were thrilled to have been appointed to work with the team to design and deliver their new site.
Our appointment came after a credentials tender process, we will be working together to scope, design and build a new, more responsive and visually appealing website. We will retain the current URL, looking to build on the equity the organisation has built yet creating a site for the next phase of their journey.
