Brand development with Newcastle Council for Voluntary Service

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed to work with Newcastle CVS to develop a new brand identity for the North East based organisation. 2019 marks a milestone year for Newcastle CVS and what better time to refresh and realign their values and visual identity.

Enabling the Voluntary and Community sector to influence decision-makers and supporting the sector as it’s voice, Newcastle CVS aims to shape a better, more diverse and equal society, empowering people and organisations to be heard and take action.

Offering expert support and advice services to voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises across Newcastle and Gateshead, Newcastle CVS has more than 700 members. There is a huge opportunity to grow this reach and raise awareness of the many services they can provide to the third sector across the North East.

Since it’s inception, the organisation has grown to deliver services beyond Newcastle and has several specialist service areas and projects within it’s organisational family. Support and Development, Advocacy Centre North, Ellison Services and HAREF all offer specialist support and advice to third sector members and individuals. Part of our task will be to create a cohesive brand architecture to strengthen and raise awareness of these extensive services and projects Newcastle CVS can provide access to.

Over the next few months, we look forward to really getting to know the organisation, a detailed consultation phase including workshop sessions will enable us to involve staff and members so we can truly understand their perception of Newcastle CVS. From there we will go on to define their values and visual identity, we can’t wait to get started, watch this space!
