Founded in 1992, Key Project is a local charity rooted in South Tyneside. They provide a range of housing advice, support and accommodation services to young people at risk of homelessness and/or experiencing hardship.
As well as aiming to prevent youth homelessness, Key Project work to empower young people by giving them the support, knowledge, and confidence they need to live successful, independent lives and get back into education, training, and employment. The charity also founded and leads the partnership which deliver the Key2Life foodbank, the longest running foodbank in South Tyneside which plays a crucial role in supporting one of the most deprived areas in the country.
The organisation had recently experienced a period of rapid growth as demand for its services increased. On the cusp of moving from a small to a medium-sized charity they were ready to review their brand and website so they are positioned for this incredibly important phase of their journey.
We have been getting to know and involving people from across the organisation’s community over the last month, from a workshop with young residents to volunteers at Key2Life as well as a session with staff and board. We’ll be starting the creative soon and we can’t wait to get going!
